A tour designed for the people of Salento, the people of Puglia and visitors alike, which takes the public on a journey of discovery through Corigliano d’Otranto Castle and the historic centre via an interweaving of places, words and music.
The narrative exploring the monuments and urban spaces is enriched by readings of excerpts from some of the finest novels set in Puglia – and, in particular, in Salento – transforming the visit into a narrative journey that evokes the atmosphere, landscapes and identity of the region.
The readings are accompanied by live musical performances, in dialogue with the texts and the locations, curated by the duo Giovanni Bisanti and Alessandro Ferrari. This continues the collaboration between the Corigliano d’Otranto Infopoint and the duo to create ever-new formats for performative tours, in which storytelling, literature and music come together to offer a fresh and evocative perspective on the region.
