The exhibition ‘Drawing Peace: Ukraine through the Eyes of Children’ presents the results of the international art project ‘Birds of Peace’ by the Kherson School of Art. Through unique and moving drawings, Ukrainian children have transformed the image of the bird into a symbol of kindness, beauty and the aspiration for peace, telling the world about their homeland and their dreams of a peaceful childhood.
A successful international journey
Launched in the spring of 2023 under the direction of Yulia and Pavlo Slipich, the “Birds of PEACE” project has already achieved significant milestones:

• It was presented in Rome on 21 September 2023, during the International Day of Peace, in collaboration with Colors for Peace and the UN.
• In September 2023, the works were exhibited in 10 Italian cities, including Milan, Verona and Bologna, and subsequently in 2024 in Prague, Hradec Králové and Milton.
The exhibition will run from 9 to 20 March 2025
