On Tuesday 20 August (8.00 pm – free entry), the terrace at Nuvole, the cocktail bar and bistro at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto, will host an evening of poetry, music, food and drink.
From 6.30 pm, guests can enjoy an aperitif and sample the revamped menu created by Diletta Bagordo and Andrea Mazzola, whilst sipping a cocktail from the list carefully curated by Michele Contini.
At 8.00 pm, in collaboration with the Municipal Library and Magma aps, in conversation with Isabella Pandelli, Dr Alessandro Francesco Alfieri – a lover of cinema, literature, astronomy, photography and music – will present his first collection of poems, *Il peso dei fiori* (Edizioni Creativa). “These lines, after all, are nothing more than my attempt to gather these flowers and preserve them in a book, so that one day, as I leaf through its pages, these moments left to wither in my memory might restore to me the scent of those days,” emphasises the author from Maglie.
At 9.30 pm, it’s time for Raffaella Roccasecca’s concert. Accompanied by Federico Specchia (guitar), Tonio Longo (bass) and Roberto Fedele (drums), the Lecce-born singer will take the audience on a musical journey through the greatest hits of Italian and international rock music. The set list will include tracks from her debut album *Tutta scena* and her subsequent singles *Una poltrona per due*, *13* and *Che vuoi che sia*. A musician, singer, multi-talented artist, artistic director of events and venues, and a student at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory of Music in Lecce, in her new project featuring previously unreleased tracks, she fully expresses her personality, telling her own story and that of all those who see themselves reflected in her songs, drawing on both familiar and unfamiliar aspects of everyone’s lives, whilst following a single overarching theme throughout the tracks: love with a touch of rock ’n’ roll.
