On 16 and 17 December 2023, Bazart – the festival and market celebrating independent creative production – returns to the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto.
For two days, the ancient manor house will be transformed into an immersive bazaar showcasing unique and independent creations. Visions, images, stories and inspirations take shape through creative works characterised by significant added value derived from their handmade or ethical aspects: unique objects, illustrations, crafts, design, performing arts, and food and wine.
The exhibition is organised by Big Sur in collaboration with Castello Volante to bring to life a spectacle of the imagination, celebrating and supporting creativity, research, experimentation and independent productions from Puglia.
Exhibitors taking part include: Alessandra De Cristofaro, Alpachino, Cerchi d’Acqua, Big Sur, Canefiori, Castello Volante, Petali d’Ambra, Emilia Ruggiero, Monica Righi, Karadrà, Gianfranco Conte, Legnointesta, Maurizio Buttazzo, Mimon Handmade, Officine Amaro, Cirase Jewels, Per Inciso, Precious Plastic, Rocco Casaluci, Tessicanapa, Valeria Puzzovio, and Vivienne Ceramica Art Studio.
This year, Bazart will run alongside ‘Femina’, a series of singing workshops open to all, featuring artists from various Mediterranean countries, curated by Rachele Andrioli and Coro a Coro, with a live performance and a closing party (16 December) and an evening of world music (17 December).
