For the past twenty years, there has been no summer without the Festa di Cinema del Reale, the festival dedicated to documentary film and perspectives on the realities of the world.
Travelling amongst the castles and villages of Salento and around the world, over the years we have promoted independent cinema and the audiovisual arts, devising an original way of organising and running a festival.
‘Cinema del Reale’ is a collective and inclusive ritual, capable of bringing people together, forging bonds, fostering creative exchanges, revitalising places, sharing experiences and stimulating awareness. It is a festival that goes beyond cinematic experiences, featuring an extraordinary exhibition programme and a series of fringe events that enrich the on-screen programme by actively engaging the audience.
Today, for the twentieth year, we return with a new creative act, a deep breath, a primordial thought and three magic words that resonate as follows:
