Bassi Maestro is a Milanese DJ and producer who, over the last 20 years, has been regarded as one of the most important artists in the world of hip hop and underground music
During his vinyl DJ sets, Bassi keeps the dancefloor buzzing, treating the crowd to soul and funk gems, hip-hop and old-school rarities, classic breaks and samples, as well as an exclusive selection of modern soul and boogie tracks straight from the 1980s, interspersed with pure electro and house moments
With his new tour for 2023, he’s offering a show that would otherwise be impossible to see: armed with nothing but 45s and a microphone, he’ll be playing for an hour and a half, alternating hip-hop classics with original samples – 40 years of dancefloor music history, starting with Grandmaster Flash, moving through Notorious B.I.G. and right up to Kanye West. Funk, soul, classic breaks and rap blended together for a one-of-a-kind live event, hosted by Bassi on the mic and turntables!
Warming up the evening with soulful hip hop from the 90s and 2000s, whilst we await Bassi Marstro’s set, is Francesco Fisotti.
