With Bazart, Corigliano d’Otranto Castle is transformed into a bazaar of visions where images, stories and evocative ideas take shape through illustrations, artefacts and handcrafted items. A festive market designed to bring the world of the imagination to life, to celebrate creativity and to support independent productions.
The event begins at 5.30 pm with the opening of the exhibition area and a print-making workshop led by Elena Campa for children aged 5 to 10. The festivities continue until midnight with film screenings, live drawing sessions, concerts and DJ sets taking place in the stately halls and at ‘Nuvole’, the Castello Volante bistro, set on the terraces of one of Puglia’s most beautiful castles.
At Bazart, you can meet illustrators, artists, craftspeople, musicians, brewers and small publishers, each with their own stories and creations characterised by significant added value stemming from their handmade or ethical nature – unique items to discover, touch, wrap up and take home as a truly original gift.
