HANDMADE, VINTAGE, GIFTS AND GOOD MUSIC: THE CHRISTMAS MARKETS ARE COMING TO THE CASTELLO VOLANTE IN CORIGLIANO D'OTRANTO.
Vintage, gifts, creativity, fun, good music, Christmas: on Sunday 12 December (free entry – from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm – Green Pass required), the stately rooms of the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto will host the Christmas Markets, an event where you can hunt for gifts, socialise and meet people – and much more besides. Throughout the day, as part of the ‘Le Domeniche del Castello’ series, visitors can explore the castle to learn about and discover the hidden treasures of this medieval fortress.
Both at lunch (set menu €25, wine and water included) and at dinner (à la carte), on the terrace of “Nuvole – Food, Stories, Cultures”, the castle’s culinary and spirits workshop, you’ll be able to sample Nuvole’s street food and drinks menu (table bookings recommended on 3343429268), where the culinary culture of Salento meets that of the peoples who have passed through the region, giving rise to unique flavours.
The markets are organised as part of the Christmas programme at Castello Volante in Corigliano. The Castello Volante project – winner of the Apulia Region’s tender for the adaptation of tourist attractions to host live entertainment events – has been managed since 2017 by Multiservice Eco, Big Sur and Coolclub in collaboration with the Municipality of Corigliano d’Otranto.
