Stories are also a way of saying that we are here, a way of feeling that others are here too, a means of being present to ourselves once more. And in this new beginning, we feel – and will continue to feel – a great need for presence.

Writer and trainer, an expert in games and storytelling: he has published with leading Italian publishers and his work has been translated into twenty languages. He acts as a consultant to the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) and other public and private organisations on the creation of teaching and educational activities.
Who is it for:
The course is aimed at anyone who wants and needs an immersive experience of writing or storytelling, whatever their profession; at those whose profession involves teaching or educating and who wish to reflect on their working methods; and at those who want to share a wonderful experience with strangers who share a common interest
Course objectives and tools:
At the heart of it all will be storytelling and play, two educational tools that have accompanied humankind since the dawn of time.
Together, we will tell and read stories, share our thoughts by writing short pieces, listen to one another through mutual writing exercises, find common ground through collective writing exercises, and live in the moment through observation and storytelling exercises.

Trainer
Beniamino Sidoti
An author, trainer and organiser specialising in the intersection of games and storytelling, he collaborates with public and private organisations throughout Italy. His works include, amongst others, *Giochi con le storie* (La Meridiana, 2001), the *Dizionario dei giochi* (with Andrea Angiolino, Zanichelli, 2010), various educational games and picture books, as well as the essay *Strategie per contrastare l’odio* (Feltrinelli, 2019).
He is one of the founders of LuccaGames and was the editorial coordinator of De Agostini’s children’s division.
