CINE?

Cinema at the Castle

The CINE? film series is back, organised by Magma APS in collaboration with Castello Volante: screenings, talks, discussions and ideas in front of the screen. Every Thursday, from 22 January, at 8.45 pm: a regular event with themes that change each month and the unmissable challenge to guess the films on the programme.

In January, the ‘Nutrire il tempo’ (Nourishing Time) series: two screenings exploring desire, mind, body and food, and a special session on nutrition and mindful movement. In February, ‘Put on Your Mask’ will guide us through a colourful parade on screen, exploring the ancestral themes of Carnival. In March, a breath of spring is in the air – the season of blossoms and revolutions: a desire for change, public squares, intimate and collective resistance, and voices finding courage. Films that transcend borders and eras to remind us that even the smallest gesture can become a spring. In April comes “Wind of Freedom”, a journey through war, resistance and liberation: friendships, ideals, disillusionment, irony. A fragile yet necessary freedom. Because even in the darkest moments, human beings find unpredictable ways to stay alive, and imagination is always the first act of freedom.
