Three Sundays to experience the Castello Volante as you’ve never seen it before: “Armonie di Corte” is a series of events combining guided tours with a historical theme, live early music and aperitifs at dusk, at the Castle of Corigliano d’Otranto.
Each event is a journey through time, spanning the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque period, accompanied by the castle’s guide and the musician Vania Palumbo with her Ensemble Concentus, all in period costume.

MIDDLE AGES – The Castle in the Middle Ages: daily life, anecdotes and archaeological finds from the medieval refectory.
- Sunday 31 August: RINASCIMENTO
1525 at the Castle: the De Monti court, as depicted in chronicles and luxury artefacts.
- Sunday 7 September: BAROQUE
– Music and splendour at the Baroque court: frescoes, allegories and receptions.
The Concentus Ensemble is an ensemble specialising in early music, founded by Maurizio Ria in 1992. The ensemble comprises highly regarded musicians who have been active on the music scene for many years, performing extensively in concerts and collaborating with
numerous groups specialising in historically informed performances, as well as dance troupes specialising in historical dances.
