On Saturday 12 April (9.00 pm – free entry), the terrace of Nuvole, the cocktail bar and bistro at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto, will host an evening of live music featuring Dalen, a Calabrian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is one of the most original voices on the new independent scene.
Dalen’s concert is a burst of energy and social awareness: with his debut single ‘Crotone’, he has successfully captured the social reality of Southern Italy, winning over critics and audiences alike. Winner of the national semi-finals of ‘Musica contro le Mafie’ out of over 800 artists, he opened the Caccuri Literary Prize alongside Public Prosecutor Nicola Gratteri, took part in the promotional tour for the 2023 Sanremo Festival and starred in a documentary for RAI Geo.
From the stage of the Magna Grecia Film Festival (featuring guests such as Kevin Costner, Tim Robbins and Raoul Bova) to his ‘Inspiegabile’ tour, which in 2023/2024 comprised 100 dates across Italy, Dalen has established himself as a clear-sighted and essential voice of our times. The music video for ‘Emigrato’ was selected and published by the daily newspaper *la Repubblica*.
He has collaborated and shared the stage with Roberto Vecchioni, Brunori Sas, Sud Sound System, Raiz, Joe Bastianich and many others. His work blends singer-songwriting, folk roots and a contemporary sensibility.
From 6.30 pm, guests can enjoy an aperitif and sample the revamped menu created by chef Lorenzo Bianco, whilst sipping a cocktail from the list carefully curated by Michele Contini.

The event forms part of the Bazart programme, which from 3 to 27 April transforms the village and the ancient manor house of Corigliano d’Otranto into a sprawling bazaar of visions where history, craftsmanship, music, food and wine, guided tours and exhibition projects come together to tell the story of the region’s creativity in an original way.
