FeelM is the SEI Festival’s second artist-in-residence programme. This year, the artistic direction is in the hands of UNDERSPRECHE, a duo comprising Marika Della Torre and Simone Campanile.
FeelM is a project that combines early cinema with contemporary music: films by the Lumière brothers and Thomas Alva Edison will be accompanied by live music, for the first time in Italy, by ten different artistic visions. The musicians and producers in residence, who have spent a week at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto, will be working on a brand-new collective performance that can only be seen on 30 and 31 July in the moat of the 16th-century castle.
A national premiere and a unique opportunity to discover and (re)discover, through music, the birth of an art form – cinema – whose origins are sometimes easily forgotten.
