A two-part event, with the second leg taking place in Bari, organised by rén collective, Pescivolanti, IMAGO PLUS, Oak studio – Handcrafted in Puglia and Castello Volante in Corigliano.
An event organised as part of the “Le Officine del Castello Volante” project, promoted by the Municipality of Corigliano d’Otranto in partnership with Big Sur, CoolClub.it, the Art&Lab “Lu Mbroia” Association, Proloco Corigliano d’Otranto, winner of “Fermenti in comune”, a public call for proposals by ANCI, funded through the National Youth Policies Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Youth Policies and the National Civil Service.
The evening’s highlights will also include local experiences and stories: the fashion brand IJO Design, the sustainable trainers manufacturer Mai Mai Shoes, Lecce-based jewellery designer Paola Barrotta, the bookbinding and printing workshop Officine Amaro, designer Gianfranco Conte and Big Sur Atelier.
• 5.30 pm Talk – The revival of manufacturing and building an audience. Talk by Gaia Segattini, founder of the Gaia Segattini Knotwear brand
• 7.30 pm Talk – Youth entrepreneurship and ethics in remote areas: it can be done! Talk by Jacopo Corona, owner of FROLLA
• From 8.30 pm, the castle terraces will be open to all for a networking aperitif showcasing the region’s finest food and drink, accompanied by presentations from exemplary local businesses sharing their stories to highlight their production and creative processes!
• At 9.30 pm, the DJ set kicks off to round off the evening with music, spirits and flavours!
