Friday 2 September, 8.30 pm, with “In vino veritas” on the terraces of “Nuvole – Food, Stories, Cultures”, the Officina del gusto e degli spiriti at Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto is once again hosting ImprovvisArt’s “Murder Mystery Dinner”.
A complicated family saga, relationships ruined by financial and family interests, and bonds filled with love and hate. At the start of the evening, everything seems peaceful and cheerful, until a terrible murder takes place right in front of all the diners, leaving them breathless.
From that moment on, the actors and actresses of ImprovvisArt – who initially blend in amongst the guests or the waiting staff – become the prime suspects. Each table becomes a team of detectives tasked with solving the mysterious case, between courses. Riddles, lies, mysteries, double-crosses, betrayals and plot twists. The audience will put their intuition to the test, follow leads, gather evidence, question the suspects and bring the culprit to justice.
But be careful: in a ‘Murder Mystery Dinner’ – an ImprovvisArt production featuring actors from the ImprovvisArt School in Lecce – nothing is quite as it seems.
The menu includes:
- Courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta, anchovies and mint
- Orecchiette with Mediterranean-style salt cod
- Slow-cooked pork fillet with apple and ginger chutney and sautéed spinach
- Caprese cake with pistachio ice cream and almond crumble
