The workshop ‘Cose (in)visibili’ – a project by Big Sur, organised as part of UCREATE in collaboration with the Castello Volante and La Festa di Cinema del reale – has kicked off at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto. The project will see a group of young artists from Puglia engaged in a co-creation process alongside the local community.
The training programme, funded by the European Union, is led by Paolo Pisanelli and Francesco Maggiore and is organised by Big Sur alongside other international partners: the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (Brussels), HANGAR (Lisbon) and MUS-E Magyarország (Budapest).
UCRATE places co-creation and the arts at the heart of its project as a means of promoting intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and a sense of belonging to an inclusive European society.
The works created will be presented in June within the castle grounds and subsequently in Brussels at the premises of one of the partner organisations.
