Jennifer Gentle are the first Italian band to be signed by the legendary American label Sub Pop (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney and The Shins). Over the years, Jennifer Gentle have amassed a long and diverse list of fans (including the likes of Graham Coxon, Jarvis Cocker, Julian Cope, Mars Volta and members of Architecture in Helsinki and the Dandy Warhols), which has made them one of the best-known Italian indie bands abroad. In 2019, Tempesta Dischi released the seventh LP by the band led by Marco Fasolo. Entitled “Jennifer Gentle” and comprising 17 tracks totalling sixty minutes of music, it is by far the most complete and accessible album produced by Fasolo (who, following collaborations with Verdena and Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, recently produced the debut album by I Hate My Village).
