On Sunday 10 October, the autumn events of the “Sundays at the Castle” series continue at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto. From 7.30 pm (free entry), the terrace of “Nuvole – Food, Stories, Cultures”, the castle’s workshop dedicated to taste and spirits, will host Giardino Magnetico, which, through its music, will take guests on an experiential journey through nature and sound. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to sample Nuvole’s street food and premium gin drinks menu (table bookings recommended on 3343429268), where the culinary culture of Salento meets that of the peoples who have passed through the region, giving rise to unique flavours. On Sundays in October, the Festa di Uasc! will alternate with a concert by the octet of the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio and selections by Rachele Andrioli (17 October), the Music Platform project (24 October) and an evening dedicated to Halloween (31 October).
Il Giardino Magnetico is a sensory celebration conceived and hosted by Sandro Leucci, an illustrator and record collector, and Alessandro Stefanio, alias Buck, label owner of Substrato. In the Giardino, music – with the vigour of its breath – transports the listener to a state of essential freedom, preparing them to perceive the nuances of sonic wonders. Il Giardino Magnetico is a travelling event; indeed, the format is hosted by different venues, all united by a ‘magical spirit’.
The Castello Volante project – winner of the Apulia Region’s call for proposals to adapt tourist attractions to host live entertainment events – has been managed since 2017 by Multiservice Eco, Big Sur and Coolclub, in collaboration with the Municipality of Corigliano d’Otranto.
