To mark May Day, we’ll follow the footsteps of the men and women who, in and around the Castle, transformed olives, tobacco, wheat and flour into economic activity, collective memory and community life. A tour to rediscover the Castle as a veritable ‘factory’ of stories, economic production, industrial archaeology and the lives of male and female workers.
