Nervi is Elia Rinaldi: having emerged from the Florentine underground scene and with a range of international musical experiences under his belt, in 2020 he embarked on a new project, born out of a desire to express himself in the language in which he thinks, in a transparent and direct way. After years of salvaging what he could, holding the pieces together, and doing the right thing, Nervi has decided to relax and let go. He made his debut at the 2019 Controradio Rock Contest, reaching the final at the Auditorium Flog in front of a distinguished panel of judges (Vasco Brondi, Diodato, Appino, Rachele Bastreghi, Max Collini and Francesco Magnelli, Federico Russo from Radio Deejay, and many journalists and music producers from all over Italy). He was the winner of the “Primo Maggio Next” competition, thereby taking part in the “Primo Maggio 2020” concert, broadcast live on Rai 3 in prime time. After winning Musica da Bere 2020, in September 2020 he won the sixth edition of the Premio Buscaglione (Fred’s ‘Sotto il Cielo’). On 9 April 2021, his debut album, *Un Tipo Timido*, was released on UMA Records and distributed by Sony Music.
