On Friday 6 December (from 6.30 pm – free entry), the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto is hosting an event as part of the ninth edition of ROAD TO PALESTINA.
A multi-stage journey across the Salento region, aimed at raising awareness of and supporting the Palestinian people. From Lecce to Tricase, via Corigliano d’Otranto: a human journey that speaks of hope, resilience and brotherhood.
The event begins at 6.30 pm with talks by Miriam Abu Samra, a researcher and lecturer in international relations at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Columbia University; Shokri Haroub of UDAP (the Palestinian Arab Democratic Union); Fabio De Nardis, a university lecturer, and Marianna Lentini, a sociologist and public communicator
This will be followed by a charity dinner featuring Palestinian dishes.
