The spring events of ‘Leggimi la Puglia’ continue; this series, organised by the Corigliano d’Otranto Info Point in collaboration with the Castello Volante Bookshop, celebrates the coming together of books, authors and readers.
The second event features *Guida Salento Km 0 – rural itineraries in southern Puglia*.
The guide stems from a journey along the rural roads of Puglia and tells the stories of the ‘farmers of change’,
the driving forces behind a positive transformation that is redefining the way we understand agriculture, food production and care for the land.
The book launch will be an opportunity to learn about the work of Salento Km0 APS, an association active since 2011 in promoting sustainable agriculture and the protection of biodiversity.
Speakers:
Francesca Casaluci, cultural anthropologist, co-founder of the Salento Km0 APS association and an expert in Salento ethnobotany and the history of food.
Sara Nocco, lecturer in the economic geography of tourism at Pegaso Telematic University.
