A special menu for St Martin’s Day: Mamma Agata’s hearty, authentic cuisine meets the flavours of autumn at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto. Wine and chestnuts to celebrate St Martin’s Day together in one of Puglia’s most beautiful castles.
On Thursday 11 November, the doors of this 16th-century castle will be open to lovers of fine food and wine, featuring an exceptional chef, Agata Cleopazzo, our special guest for special events.
Agata Cleopazzo – known as Mamma Agata to all those who love her – is the special guest at our Tavola di San Martino. A great lover of cooking, she has for some years now turned her passion into a profession, establishing herself as a highly respected figure in the preparation of traditional dishes – and more besides – in many restaurants and eateries across the Salento region. She cooks for everyone as if they were guests in her own home (and perhaps this is the ingredient that makes everything taste even better), and on 11 November she’ll be treating you to her ‘generous’ cuisine amongst the clouds at the top of the Castello Volante.
After dinner, from 10.00 pm (free entry), a Dionysian party with music selected by Max Nocco.
Raise your glasses – we look forward to seeing you there!
