On Sunday 22 June (9.30 pm – free entry), the terrace of Nuvole, the cocktail bar and bistro at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto, will host an evening of live music with Donne in Carmen.
An evening dedicated to the great female voices of Italian music. Donne in Carmen is a project that explores the songs, lyrics and stories that have shaped our country’s cultural imagination. A musical and narrative journey that brings unforgettable songs back to life, from Patty Pravo to Mia Martini, from Elisa to Giorgia.
On stage, Carmen Greco, singer-songwriter and performer, brings this narrative to life with a profound and visceral style, capable of striking a chord with themes of identity, memory and transformation. At her side, Francesco Santoro, a musician from Salento who has been active for over twenty years, accompanies her on the guitar with sensitivity and simplicity.
From 6.30 pm, guests can enjoy an aperitif whilst sipping a cocktail from the list carefully curated by Michele Contini.
