Saturday 26 November at 8.00 pm, free admission at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d’Otranto
“Noi, i ciechi” (We, the Blind), the final presentation of the Serra di Danza workshop, the result of the work led by Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten from 14 to 25 November in the Cavallerizza hall of the ancient manor house.
The project (co-ordinated by Victor Callens), following Greco and Scholten’s creative approach, was accompanied and “stimulated” by encounters with artists, authors and scholars working in Puglia: the singer-songwriters Oh Petroleum and Miro Durante, the musician Federico Laganà, the artist, curator and sociologist Luigi Negro, the singer Simona Gubello, and the artist Antonio De Luca.
The work *Noi, i ciechi* presents the results of the choreographic and interdisciplinary research carried out over recent weeks.
On stage, alongside the dancers Giacomo De Luca, Lorenza Mangione, Lucia Mosaico and Giuseppe Zagaria, will be some of the artists involved in the creative process: Federico Laganà, Simona Gubello, Antonio De Luca and Oh Petroleum.
“Noi, i ciechi” is an exploration through the senses that evokes a return to a holistic experience of knowledge.
Serra di danza, together with the ResExtensa company, forms part of the “Porta d’Oriente” project, a new national dance production centre recognised and supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Puglia Region.
