On Sunday 18 December, at 7.00 pm, Guido Harari, the renowned Italian photographer, curator and publisher, will present two books at Castello Volante: *Remain in the Light* and *Una goccia di splendore*, an autobiography dedicated to the great Fabrizio De Andrè.
During the event, the photographer will discuss and analyse the creative process behind the works, and the impact his photographs (taken throughout his long career) have had. A journey of discovery through the artist’s long and brilliant career.
The event will be hosted by film director Paolo Pisanelli.
The books taking centre stage this evening:
“Remain in the Light”, a kaleidoscopic diary of encounters, friendships and fascinations that retrace the music and culture of the twentieth century, captured by the photographer over a career spanning 50 years. An incredible gallery of stories and images collected in a book that is a true distillation of the talent, visionary spirit and insatiable curiosity that permeate all of Harari’s work.
“Una goccia di splendore” (A Drop of Splendour), an autobiography brimming with previously unpublished material, images and words unearthed thanks to the collaboration between Guido Harari and the Fabrizio De André Onlus Foundation.A book in which memories and images of Faber merge to convey the poetics, genius and nuances of the Genoese artist, in a comprehensive, unvarnished and sincere anthology.
At the same time, the Castello will be buzzing with the energy of the Bazart festival and market.
