The crown, which has always been a symbol of royalty, merges with the naked, humble body – a vessel of fragility and sublime beauty. It is our imperfections that define us as unique beings worthy of love, far removed from cold stereotypes or idealised visions of who we are. Just us, with ourselves. Nothing else!
The Àmati Amàti project stems from the collaboration between Enrica Ciurli, a visual artist who alternates her painting practice with running creative workshops in nursery schools or at private events, drawing inspiration from the art of Hervé Tullet, and the ‘master of ceramics’ Leonardo Tondo, who, in his ‘Ceramica17’ workshop, experiments with and refines colour techniques, exploring the world of ceramics with a particular focus on contemporary design.
