In *Still Here*, an exhibition combining photography and video by Piero Percoco – a self-taught photographer and one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary Italian photography – the landscape becomes the result of prolonged observation. Curated by Alice Caracciolo and organised in collaboration with *linea*, the exhibition stems from an exercise in return: for over fifteen years, Percoco has been traversing the same coastlines, the same countryside, the suburbs, rural architecture, urban fringes and the places of his childhood, building up a body of knowledge grounded in the duration of the gaze. His images capture the unexpected within everyday life and reveal a shifting geography in which human traces, natural processes, long-settled memories and recent transformations coexist without hierarchy, far removed from both tourist stereotypes and nostalgic narratives.
